西部数码 officially launches premium domain name reservation service, helping enterprises secure high-quality digital assets.

Thank you for your long-standing trust and support for 西部数码. To better meet enterprises' demand for premium quality domain names and further enrich domain investment channels, we are officially launching our premium domain name reservation service from today, providing users with more opportunities to acquire high-value domain names.

I. What are premium domain names?

Premium domain names are domains set directly by domain registries, priced higher than standard registration fees due to their high commercial value, brand scarcity, or market investment potential.

The value of such domains stems from their short and memorable nature, clear meaning, and strong alignment with industry keywords. They play an irreplaceable role in scenarios such as corporate brand upgrades, digital asset allocation, and search engine optimization. Therefore, their pricing is typically determined by the registry through a comprehensive assessment of market supply-demand dynamics and the quality of the domain name, rather than being a result of conventional hype or bidding behavior.

II. Guide to reserving premium domain names

Users can easily participate in premium domain name reservation through the following steps:

1.Filter target domains

Visit the 西部数码 domain name backorder reservation platform: https://www.west.cn/booking/ , and filter desired domains using the "Premium" tag. Domains marked with the "溢" icon are premium domain names; hover the mouse over them to view the specific premium amount.

2.Choose a reservation method

Standard reservation: Suitable for quick reservation of a single domain name.

Priority backorder: Some domains support this service, allowing you to submit backorder applications with priority to increase the success rate.

Batch reservation: Supports selecting multiple domains simultaneously (mixing standard and premium domains) to streamline the process. During batch reservation, the reservation channel and amount for premium domains are fixed.

3.Freeze deposit

When making a reservation, a deposit equivalent to 20% to 100% of the domain reservation amount (minimum 20%) must be frozen to confirm genuine intent and ensure the subsequent transaction proceeds smoothly.

4.Renewal instructions

Typically, the annual renewal fee for a premium domain remains consistent with the first-year premium registration fee. The specific amount is subject to the renewal policy announced annually by the registry.

III. Kind reminders

Reservation means lock-in: Once a premium domain reservation is submitted and the deposit is frozen, cancellation is generally not supported. If the backorder is successful, payment must be completed within the specified time; otherwise, the deposit may be forfeited.

Prices are subject to real-time display: The specific prices and rules for all premium domain names shall be based on the real-time display on the reservation page of the 西部数码 official website.

西部数码 will remain dedicated to providing you with a secure, efficient, and diverse domain service experience.
