2026 (7th) China Internet Basic Resources Conference | 西部数码 became one of the first member units of the Domain Name Industry Information Sharing Work Promotion Group

        On September 29, the 2026 (7th) China Internet Infrastructure Resources Conference was grandly held in Beijing. With the theme of "Pooling Wisdom for Innovation and Building the Future with the Internet", the conference brought together more than 500 participants including relevant authorities, academicians and experts, international organizations and industry representatives. West.cn was invited to attend this grand event.

        At the conference, leaders from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, industry associations, and representatives from ICANN and APNIC delivered speeches in turn. Several academicians shared their views on cutting-edge topics such as agent identifiers, AI security, network resilience, and token billing.

        Wang Peng, Director and Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), pointed out that Internet infrastructure resources are in a critical period where opportunities and challenges coexist. Efforts will be made in four dimensions—technical systems, security protection, industrial ecology, and international governance—to adhere to innovation-driven development, maintain the security bottom line, promote high-quality development of basic resources, and support the building of a cyber power and Digital China.

        The conference released three major scientific research achievements: the RPKI service platform achievements were unveiled, the Beijing Key Laboratory of Agent Identifier and Security Assurance Technology was inaugurated, and the Agent Trusted Infrastructure Platform (ATI) was officially launched.

        At this conference, to strengthen collaborative industry governance and build a solid network security defense line, the "Domain Name Industry Information Sharing Working Promotion Group" was formally established under the Internet Infrastructure Resources Working Committee of the Internet Society of China, led by the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC). As a member unit, West.cn participated in it, joining hands with all parties in the industry to maintain a healthy and orderly ecosystem for the domain name industry and safeguard national cyberspace security.

        As a domain name registrar certified by CNNIC and ICANN, West.cn will, relying on its responsibilities in the Domain Name Industry Information Sharing Working Promotion Group, continue to focus on user needs, iterate and optimize products and security services, actively participate in collaborative industry governance, fulfill the primary responsibility for domain name security, give back to customers with more reliable products and better services, and support the high-quality development of the domain name industry.
